Lignjadura 2025 held in Bol: despite strong winds, a successful second day and a rich humanitarian program<\/h3>\n

The traditional Lignjadura 2025 took place on October 3rd and 4th in Bol. This year\u2019s edition was marked by strong bora winds that prevented the competition from being held on the first day. However, on the second day the weather calmed down, allowing 30 teams to set out to sea and successfully complete the event.<\/p>\n

The best squid-fishing teams of this year\u2019s Lignjadura were:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. 1st place: team Fameja (Domagoj, Brane, Dorian and Laura)<\/li>\n
  2. 2nd place: team Ko je pa u more (Melani, Jeri, Roberto and Petra)<\/li>\n
  3. 3rd place: team Bez veze (Stipe, Branka and Ivano)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The most successful teams received stone statues crafted by sculptor Viktor Ivuli\u0107, valuable gift vouchers from Extreme Fishing Split, as well as cleaning and sandblasting services from Salona Dental and Jer\u010di\u0107 Dental clinics.<\/p>\n

    Special prizes were awarded in the following categories:<\/p>\n

    Biggest squid: stone statue, fishing rod, and DTD \u2013 High Quality Squid Jigs gift package<\/p>\n

    Oldest participant: DTD gift package<\/p>\n

    Youngest participant: DTD gift package<\/p>\n

    Miss Lignjadura: sash, stone statue, and Mi Olive oil<\/p>\n

    This year, the organizers also rewarded all-female teams with a \u20ac200 dinner voucher for one of the Bol restaurants \u2013 Taverna Riva, Vendetta by Vagabundo \u2013 Restaurant & Sushi Bar, or other Bol restaurants.<\/p>\n

    In addition to the competition, a charity raffle was held with numerous valuable prizes:<\/p>\n

    Lavazza coffee machine (donated by Viktor Gracin)<\/p>\n

    Signed Ivan Rakiti\u0107 jersey (donated by Marko Brali\u0107 and \u017deljko \u0160\u010depanovi\u0107)<\/p>\n

    7 kg monkfish (donated by Jerko Restovi\u0107 \u2013 Hajduk fish market)<\/p>\n

    \u20ac200 voucher for CHOPSTIX Pan Asian Cuisine & Sushi Bar Zagreb<\/p>\n

    Three abdominal examinations by Dr. Punda<\/p>\n

    As in previous years, all proceeds from the event were donated to charity, reaffirming Lignjadura\u2019s humanitarian character and its important social role within the local community.<\/p>\n

    Despite the poor weather at the beginning, Lignjadura 2025 once again demonstrated that tradition, togetherness, and goodwill are the foundation of this distinctive Bol event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
